so i'm ready for summer to be over. mainly because i'm tired of seeing flocks of small children and herds of old people on campus. it's also painful to start a new school year and see large numbers of lost/clueless freshman wandering around... but i think its time.

for those of you who have dropped of the face of the earth for the past four months or so, i got into and will be attending both of the grad schools that i applied to. i'm just finishing up my very last undergrad class which i'd been putting off for as long as possible. its amazing how much less painful fourth semester german is when taken over the summer. i should've been taking summer classes all through my undergrad career!

anyway, its time for the fall. time for friends who have been cavorting the globe (or dawdling around in different parts of the state) to come home to austin. time to start a new academic program which will hopefully hold my interest better than my snooty liberal arts major did. time for my sister to move back to this part of the state.

or maybe just time for me to stop wasting everyone's tax and tuition money and get my butt back to work...

Hoorah! The blog does exist! I'm so glad you started posting again. I mean, how else am I going to figure out what's going on in your life?
